Schneider Stone’s Asheboro Headquarters Showroom is 5,000-Square-Foot Showplace

Part of Schneider Stone’s 10-acre headquarters campus, the Asheboro Showroom is a luxurious showplace featuring kitchen and bath displays, a shower display and a stunning home bar with a surrounding natural stone wall. The welcoming home bar is complete with a beer tap, huge entertainment center and nearby sofas and chairs for relaxing.

Another inspiring focal point is a dramatic kitchen island with a waterfall-edge granite countertop. Complementing the many large samples of quartz, granite and other natural stones in the showroom, shoppers can walk through double doors into a 25,000-square-foot indoor slab yard to view the large stone slabs in the warehouse. Out-of-town clients are welcome to take advantage of the slab yard to view the vast samples as well.

Greensboro Schneider Stone Showroom Brings ‘Art of Nature’ to the Home

Greensboro Showroom Manager Jolie Goss has a love of art and design and once worked for an art company. Today, as she helps homeowners, general contractors, kitchen/bath contractors and designers select natural stone from all over the world to be transformed into luxurious countertops, “It’s exciting to see art created in nature used in the home.”

The light-infused, studio-like showroom, which has hundreds of stone samples and several room vignettes, has been in Greensboro since 2009. The breadth of projects the showroom facilitates ranges from “Fifteen-foot fireplaces and spa-like master baths with floor-to-ceiling granite and floating marble sinks to small retirement homes where a couple wants to brighten up their kitchen with natural stone counter tops. Or a young couple may want to install a custom 60-inch bathroom vanity countertop in their powder room. Goss finds it rewarding that “Countertops and stone surfaces are the final, delightful finishing touch of a home remodel or construction.”

Wilmington Schneider Stone Showroom includes Indoor Stone Slab Yard

The 5,000-square-foot Schneider Stone complex in Wilmington, N.C. includes a 3,500-square-foot indoor slab yard, enabling clients to view vast slabs of natural stone to see a full representation of veining and movement. The slab yard is an added benefit, complementing the studio-like showroom full of smaller samples of quartz, granite and other natural stone, along with room vignettes of custom surfaces for kitchens and bathrooms. The showroom has operated in Wilmington since 2011.

Wilmington Regional Manager Bill Eschert, who has 40 years of experience in the kitchen business, is there to guide residential and commercial clients through the selection, fabrication and installation of custom countertops, along with co-worker Lisa Votta, who has interior design expertise. The showroom “serves communities from Myrtle Beach to Jacksonville, N.C.,” Bill says.

Chapel Hill’s Custom Countertop Showroom Opened in 2007 as First Schneider Satellite

Opening in 2007, the Schneider Stone Chapel Hill Showroom displaying custom surfaces for kitchens and bathrooms was the company’s first satellite opened beyond the Asheboro headquarters. The showroom services clientele including residential builders, home owners and interior designers.

Showroom manager Susan Long, who has a design background and graduated from college and an art school in Pennsylvania, has been with the company for 8 years and in the natural stone countertops field for 15 years. She describes her job as rewarding because, “There’s such a variety of clients, materials, projects and creative challenges. I love the idea of helping people make their homes more functional and beautiful.”

Schneider Stone Showroom Open Since 2016 in Resort & Retiree Area of Pinehurst

The Schneider Stone Showroom in the Sandhills resort and retirement community of Pinehurst is the company’s latest natural stone countertop store to open its doors in 2016. Overseeing every aspect of the opening was manager Chanda Strother, who’s been with Schneider for 10 years, working originally in the Chapel Hill Showroom.

Chanda graduated from Meredith College with degrees in Interior Design and Business, and has the expertise to drill down into the details of floor plans and layouts, and to maneuver designs and pattern flows for the showroom’s clients in remodeling and construction. Most rewarding for her is “When I’m able to give a client fresh and modern countertop ideas, and then all the pieces come together – countertops, backsplash, cabinets, flooring and walls – to create a beautiful result they love.”
